The Girl You’ll Never Notice

And then she passes by
Not leaving any trace
Their words can make her cry
Her facade is a poker face

Everyone wants the spotlight
To have a shiny moment
She remains to be out of sight
Delighted by the silent treatment

In darkness where she stays
They witness how she sparkles
She isn’t the sun of the day
But as star of the night sky that twinkles

She has no idea how lovely she is
Distant, yet can clearly be seen
Giving hope, a source of bliss
A notable girl, even you’re not keen
