The Good Man I Don't Deserve

Every morning,
You let me start off fresh.
With a new day,
You breathe into me new breath.
You walk me to the bus stop, and get me safely to school.
How sweet You are, oh lover of my soul.
You are like a good man I don't deserve-
looking only at my good, and forgetting the worst.
You make me feel better, without saying a word
and when I feel pain, You always heal the hurt.
I always have Your attention,
even when I may not want it.
Nevertheless, You're still in love with me?
Oh, how Your grace is so sufficient
and I love the way You talk to me.
Such a man of Your word,
so I take You up on your promises,
because I know they won't return void.
You love me in such a way, that my mind cannot comprehend.
You keep my enemies at bay, and protect me from my fears.
You love me more.
more than I love myself
So much so, that for me?
For me You chose death.
You are the only man I know will die for me.
die for me? Just to give life to me.
How sweet You are,
so sweet You are.
Lover of my soul,
You are the good man, I don't deserve.
