The Goodbye Tears

There was a moment of silence
When the little girl hugged her dad,
His body did return from the war,
But his soul would never come back.

Her mother's eyes dried up,
She was determined not to cry,
But she couldn't stop her tears,
No matter, how much did she try.

Everyone cried and cried,
The little girl was shocked,
On her father's tri-coloured coffin,
With goodbye tears, she gave a knock.
