The Grand Illusion

While looking above
At trillions of stars
We float, as a dove
The smoke of cigars
The wonders are there
Galaxy, beyond
Shooting stars, a flare
The world should abscond

And there is no end
Forever it seems
Just love may transcend
Not only in dreams
To capture it all
Expressing in words
A slight southern drawl
Released for the birds

Is no simple feat
My love, no borders
As stars in a fleet
Disobey orders
Forever it goes
The beauty, so true
The universe knows
How much I love you.
