The Greetings Of Death

It won't be long before death greets me
Time flies by as my youth fades
On that very day I will not weep
I look to no regrets for the troubles I made
I do not live perfect, but I do live free
Acceptance in the end, for I call to the waking dead
The expression on deaths face I do wish to see
No apologies will be given, nor will tears shed
Whatever the future holds I will gladly see
I do not look back, forever living in the moment
Today or tomorrow I continue to walk with my feet
With the torch of life, I face death as an opponent
Lying in the bed of life choices I make
Approaching the greetings of death with every breath I take
