The Heater

Theres a crowbar in the castle for to lift me out of bed
I could never take the hassle so I slept outside instead
And when I woke the mourning dove would rally round my head
Cooing "I know that you're doing, I heard everything you said"

And theres a grimace in the water but I wash up anyhow
And theres a kingdom in my vision or it's just a golden cow
And a killer in the nightmare and they cheer and they say "Wow
I've never really listened now I'm dead
I should have left the heater in the shed"

She brought me all these kisses and she brought me all these dreams
And she would have been my misses but she thought that I was mean
And now I've gone all manic and theres something inbetween
The time that I spend sleeping and my dreams

I know ahead of time but place bets on losing teams
To be crying with the players at the end.
