The Heavenly Aspects of Hell

It was a pleasure to burn.
And as the fire rose,
my world fell down in ashes.
The smoke rose above all the heavens,
and danced with the darkness that was descending.
Hand in hand they approached me
And their toxins engulfed me.

My lungs can't take the poison within,
and my skin can't take the heat around it,
but there is no escape.
My legs have gone up in flames,
overcome by their power,
they no longer belong to me.
No longer the owner of my own sight,
the darkness stands in its way,
and as I breath in,
I exhale one.last.time.

I am no longer an object,
I am no longer part of this world,
for the light,
the heat,
the flames,
have now consumed me,
taken over,
and I am finally set free.
