The Height of the Year
Life is a dime,
Summer reaching its prime,
Living couldn't be more sweet than the nectar,
Provided by those that are now abuzz,
Named to sound like my last word's second letter,
It is no longer bitter although it was,
Winter is past,
But as children we know, sweets will never last.
