The Heist

I feel sluggish
Body feels way off.
Even in this Covid
But I can't take a day off.
I remembered those hard knocks
Like Hov did.
So I'm moving like it was yesterday
when I got laid off.
Ask Madoff,
I flipped these rhymes into
Clever schemes til they paid off.
Don't call that raid off.
Kick in the door
And see the couple gems I left you
Before I made off
With a Banksy peace of mind
Too priceless in interest
that I couldn't trade-off.
But I left some curious fiction
Attached to some furious diction.
So by the time these bars hit you,
I'm already out of your jurisdiction
When I take off.
