THE HOMELESS DIALOGUE
Hey! Whose shadow stands at my doorsteps?
Speak up and answer my query!
Quietly the shadow stepped backwards,
And a weary voice answered my query.
I am a homeless from a muddy hole
I am a downtrodden devoid of hope
I am a shattered man and no longer whole,
I am a hungry man in search of help!
What brought you to my doorsteps?
Led by my mystical extreme powers,
I saw shinning stars at your doorsteps,
They were uncountable sparkling stars,
So I chose to rest at your doorsteps!
What if I had shot you from afar?
My magic wand did not order my sole
To get going before it is night
So I had a feeling within my soul
You will feed the hungry being a Knight!
What do I call you Magician man?
The homeless sheltered from the storms,
The downtrodden with joy overflowing,
The dejected overflowing with graces,
The hungry man with bowls overflowing.
