The Hymn of the Trees
The trees and leaves.
Softly touched by the breeze.
The air through the trees is like a joyous choir.
Each word sang, each note heard.
The birds dance in the sky
As if the song is for them.
The world is silent as you hear the melody.
“Come to the trees child.
To hear Earth’s sweet melody
Where the birds dance and the creatures seek
To hear the melody of the trees.”

This is a poem I wrote that reminds me of my mom. She loved nature. She has the greenest thumb in the world. She could make anything grow. Plus, she loved all creatures. This poem is a narrative poem.
