The Illumination

Sea-shell blue eyes
chocolate-brown stare
a tiny glimmer of light

The sun lights your eyes
a strange shade of yellow
becomes you,
as a glove

Learn, live, adjust
to the unclean grip of
madness

I cradle my inner child
she has become more
healthy
her stare is less vacant
