The Illusion of Time

To describe time is to see the wind
It is varied for an individual,
Uncertain because it can manipulate the mind
Moving swiftly at one moment and at a stand still the next
Time changes with age
It cannot be altered nor revisited
It can be your best friend or your worst enemy
Time can build up and time can let down
Time lingers in the background of emotion
Never is it at fault
But claiming innocence in the presence of anger, hurt, sadness, fear
Containing such worldly personality,
For an object stemming from the mere thoughts of man
Time can break hearts, shed tears, form scars;
Without a sound, without revealing its identity.
