The journey in

If you fail to see the beauty in being good
Then I hate to say this
But you must be, sorely misunderstood
To do what is right, is never wrong
As your life won’t follow
The same old, sad song
Why did they do this?
Why did they say that?
Is that not so?
Or is it a fact
Am I right?
Or are they wrong
Do I even care?
Or should I be strong?
If you can admit
I know my choices are mine
You have learned some lessons
You have done, some hard Time
To find true peace
Always comes at a price
As it always comes with
An omitting, self-sacrifice
For now I know
My heart I follow
My mind I use
This way
They can both be, properly fused
Because If they go in the opposite direction
Then true peace I will never find, I will lose.
