The Key To Eternity
Over the ages
We've overcome many obstacles
And kept many of the tools and methods
We used to overcome such obstacles
However
There are many of these methodologies
That we've kept over the centuries
That to this day hold no significant purpose
It's only through traditions and stubbornness
That these methods and ways of thinking
Are kept in place
Some of these methods kept in place
Have caused nothing but destruction
Slowed the search for truth and knowledge
And closed the door
To understanding the infinite
We must work to further our awareness
If we are to understand
The meaning of our existence
The secretes of the universe
Are still out there
And the key to eternity
Is through an opened mind
We've overcome many obstacles
And kept many of the tools and methods
We used to overcome such obstacles
However
There are many of these methodologies
That we've kept over the centuries
That to this day hold no significant purpose
It's only through traditions and stubbornness
That these methods and ways of thinking
Are kept in place
Some of these methods kept in place
Have caused nothing but destruction
Slowed the search for truth and knowledge
And closed the door
To understanding the infinite
We must work to further our awareness
If we are to understand
The meaning of our existence
The secretes of the universe
Are still out there
And the key to eternity
Is through an opened mind

The Key To Eternity
PoetVictor Alan Blanchard
Man, still in our infancy, seems hellbent and out of control, speeding faster towards the precipice of the abyss. But, instead of hitting the brakes, it's pedal to the metal. Alas, the horrors we construct now, will be dealt with by our descendants.
