the knife

the knife,
held firmly by traitors,
stabbing painfully, endlessly,
heartlessly towards the betrayed,
who once was their kindred.

the knife,
crafted carefully by heartbreakers,
to end the life of the morose,
thinking there's no hope,
no where for them to go,
the ones who lie lonely in black.

the knife,
the damned knife,
kills the somber heart,
murders the loving soul,
filling the mind with hatred.

the knife,
who stabbed the innocent and woeful,
is vengeful,
only time will tell when,
when the knives will hurt those who hurt,
and make them regret deeply.
