The Land Of Many Colors

black history month honors those who fought for people's civil rights
They spread the message that peace was coming
They never let theire people down
Dr Martin Luther King Jr. broke those walls
Which once seperated the land of many colors
He rang the bell for freedom
And opened the door to civil right equality
Rosa Parks" The First Lady Of Civil Rights"rejected segregation
And started the revolution
She inspired others to help bring a change to America
We live in the land known as" The Land Of Many Colors"
Where there is no difference between us
If you're black or white who cares
your heart is what really matters
you could be red, purple, blue or green
Just do the right thing and be proud of who you are
