The Land Of Those Long Lost

In the land of those long lost
forgotten children lie
But one girl stands tall
In the land of those long lost
Only on child survived
Silver tears whisper down her cheeks
In the land of those long lost
only one did not die
silently she begins to weep
In the land of those long lost
She begins to sob "why" over and over
Her tears are like fresh dew on the blood splattered clover
In the land of those long lost
One child cries out
But she will never hear her shouts
In the land of those long lost
The war had took her hearing
Right there in the blood-slick clearing
In the land of those long lost
One child will walk out
Crying about the lives she will have to live without
Outside of the land of those long lost
One child still wonders why
she deserved to live and they deserved to die
