The Last Chapter

She lies embalmed in scented oil
No signs of sweat, no traces of toil

She lies unmoving, as she crosses over
Near and around her, the angels hover

Eyes closed, she sees her kins
Bidding goodbye, as the journey begins

Her wings soar, higher and higher
As they light up the holy pyre

A light emanates, from within her soul
As the fire and earth, consume her whole
