The Last Dance

By

When your life is nothing but a dance
One big and long performance
Hoping to stay in the dark
Yet the spotlight keeps finding you
Twirling into tears constantly
The burning criticism of your whole being
A wrong turn a broken leg
A wrong look a broken heart
Jumping up in reach of help
Landing back in suffering
When will the curtain finally end it all
Staring at the rope above like a cure
Dancing the same madness everyday
Until your bleeding in misery
Hit with rocks and stones
Causing a scene among the audience
Wanting to move the floor from your feet
Falling down the hole to depression
The last dance of a black rose
