The Last Question
It's four in the morning and
There's not much else to say
Only that you are no longer a call away.
My tears fall and nothing will keep them at bay
Because it's four in the morning and
Are with her--
Sleeping soundly while she is on your chest.
I only have two questions,
Why did I ever put you before the rest?
Now it's four-thirty in the morning,
I can finally see that you were never there for me.
I will close my eyes one last time,
Will he care when I die?
