The Laughing Rose of Love
This laughing rose of love stuck me sharper
than a thimble, Only with a touch will this
fickle thing seem so simple. In the clutches of
her promise, I almost did forget, that this
laughing rose of love had always bought a debt.
My desperados wedding untied me at the seam,
this laughing rose of love soon became unclean.
Time had lost all meaning in the wake of its
spell, We sang in the jesters chamber, Her
heaven became our hell.
