The Lesser Half of a Whole

She was always told
She wouldn't get a say
He could do it better, and for more pay
She lives in a world where her no is his yes
Born accustomed to inadequateness

Inequality granted without a choice
How unlady-like to raise her voice
Controlled by his manners, without a please
Carelessness is her biggest tease

Oh how society's lines blur
Even the word he is
More than half of her
