The Lies That You Spoke.

I told you my feelings,
Than you shut me down.
I have to smile,
To hide a frown.
“I’m not ready.”
You told me one day.
Leaving me speechless,
With nothing to say.
I remember that night.
It’s crystal and clear.
But the way you act,
Makes me question if it were real.
You held me so passionate.
So sweet and so real.
Then blew it off,
Like it was not a big deal.
Why do you hurt me?
The person you “like”?
When you know it’s wrong,
And that you’re not right.
Because it was a joke.
It never was real.
You lied to my face,
About the way that you feel.
