The Light in Her Eyes
How did i escape you're gaze while others still rest in chains.
Time had no concept being my own prisoner, still even now shadows hunt me.
Although pleasant they may have seemed, A great fool I played so easily being deceived.
Such a brilliant light shined in her eyes, as a flame amber in its glow.
Tricked me to stay robbed me of my will to go, inasmuch i struggle with myself.
Fear consumed me as too where has my strength gone.
I indeed must have love my cell and hated my desire to go home.
Alas the key laid in my heart a price for my deeds, with pain as that of swarm of angry bee.
death of a broken heart was my payment it seemed..
