The Lonely Girl

A young and lonely child
Wanders in hills afar
She tells a story of abandonment
As she sobs to the stars

Her family is long gone
Her lover still not found
Nobody to accompany her
Through life that's all around

As she sits in pity
She spots a young man
Swimming in loneliness
As she had done herself

She asks the stranger where he is going
And where he has been
He offers the same answer
That she herself would've said

He says, "I've been nowhere but everywhere
And I'm going everywhere but nowhere"
And the girl asks him to accompany her
So neither is alone

That's when they both realize
They've finally found the one,
The lover just now found,
And the new family that's far from gone
