The Lord Is Ever There

Some love is like the falling snow,
so pure and clean, but never cold.
I sit here watching as the snow falls,
reviewing my life, with all it's pitfalls.
My mind keeps whirling, like the snow--
who can I turn to?--where will I go?
I feel i'm being,tugged apart; I fear to stone-will turn my heart.
All I love, have left me here,
I feel so alone--in total fear.
But as I knew, the Good Lord would,
He spoke to me-said if you could---
take a step back, get away from your fear.
My child you know--that I am here.
By your side,I've promised to stay,
No one, no time, can run me away.
So when you're thinking, you're all alone,
remember I'm there---leading you home.
