The Loveliest of Night
The moon hangs lovely and serene amidst our sleeping souls,
The sky, so dark, and unforeseen, silhouettes our silver shadows.
Oh, how lovely once were your eyes, the shade of almond shaped drops,
Drowned in a storm of madness, taunting, twirling; it never stops.
Oh how lovely the moon perches, comforting my dampened eyes,
Caress my bruised heart, the plunge of a sword twisting inside.
Goodnight soft stars, silent shadows and sauntering silhouettes,
Shine beyond the spaded hearts, but never ever forget.
Goodnight peaceful moon, so lovely you rest beneath my soft stare,
Stay forever within a lullaby, so beautiful, so enchanting, so fair.
Two tides of unintended storms collide into one unmistaken collision,
Oh! The sky lights with such beautiful twisting colours! We begin.
