The Man Parted from Existence
The fifth of November in the year 1993
The filth was fermenting, faith was foreign and obselete
Fear of failure fixed his mind on freedom, not defeat
For his son was born that day, the man was numb and couldn't speak
Like the man who lives on Mars, he only dreamed of reality
As thoughts about tomorrow plagued the father with disease,
he wandered streets of fantasy, dreams of a release
Diagnosed by doctors, labeled as depressed with ADHD
The twenty-third of April in the year 1995
To quench the thirst of anger, tears fell from his eyes
The stench of earth would linger, beneath the dirt he lies
Does God forgive a man by whose own means, demons were exorcised?
How can one understand suicide and prior demise?
Now the favor lies in those whose eyes have seen
Was this a blessing derived from a curse or just a dream?
The son has visions of life, the hurst is just a memory
