The Mask I Wear

I wear a mask to escape the life I live
Truth is I take in more than what I give

I know my mask makes me seem like I'm full of hate
I have lost so much to life that I'd rather say I'm doing great

One person knows what I feel can see the better half in me
While others see the worse and try to judge me on what they see

I know I can't give up I got to stay tough
But wearing a mask sometimes just isn't enough
