The Memorial
Call it what you may,
A coin on a headstone,
Is much more than others say.
Its the tomb of the unknown.
A part of history called Memorial Day.
It’s a soldier’s life taken away.
An empty chair on a holiday
Don’t tell me, it’s just another day.
It’s more than just a coin,
It’s more than a flag flying over a grave.
It's a story that may never be told again.
