The Memory of Me

Birds will sing
Flowers will bloom
Roses will fill the air with their essence
And the memory of who I used to be
Will be forgotten in an instant
I'm just a person out of billions
Hoping that someday I'll make millions
No one will remember me after I'm gone
Most of what I've done in my life has been wrong
I've never achieved anything great
When I leave this world nothing will change
It will remain exactly the same
My life doesn't make a difference
I'm just so insignificant
So, what makes me think I have a future anyway?
Hundreds of people die everyday
Where are their names?
I don't see their picture hanging in a frame
The same goes for me
When death claims me
My whole life will be forgotten instantly
