The Monster Inside Me

My mind falls right before me.
As my thoughts turn into chills.

I'm tormented by the monster inside me,
As I plan my escape from this hell.

I was really just only a child,
when temptation claimed its first win.

Now this wolf just keeps getting stronger,
convincing me again, and again.

I ponder how something so ugly,
managed to work it's way in..

Temptation hid the addiction,
like the wolf from under sheep skin.

Now my goals are just a prescription,
to feed the beast that's within.

So with this .45 caliber,
I decide to let the wolf win.
