The Mystery of Life

The life of morning
Yet, the death of dawn
The sound of crying
Yet, the first breath of a fawn
This is life
Yet, this is pain
This is sorrow
Yet, this is gain
Who can fathom the mystery of life?
Who can withstand the stab of a knife?
None but the eternal God above
Who knows the mystery of hate and love
