The Narrow Path

I died to be a dreamer
I died to get away
I never asked for this
I only needed a say
I only wanted a life
I only needed a day
Just a little time
Just one more way
If you could see me now
I bet you'd surly cry
You may have survived
But in the end you'll always die
You may be living
But what's the point in that
Standing on a dead earth
You just look flat
The longer you stay here
The shorter the ride in the hearse
Because you were born this way
There will be no gold, frankincense, myrrh
You deserve nothing
You deserve the shame
You deserve the agony when you die in vain
And He will rule with justice
And cast those to His right and left
And those to His right will follow him
And those to the left follow death
