The Nemesis

The ancient worshipped me for revenge
To put thy contented life to an end
They made me what I am and what I would be
But never smaller: only greater I did be
They used me and drew blood out of thee
They made me the cause for so many to bleed
‘Cause of I thou art in this eternal calmness
For I am Nemesis – I oppose forgiveness.
