The New Title

What is this title, and how do I wear it?
To all that I've known, I just can't compare it.
How will I act, and who will I be?
This exciting new option's so unfamiliar to me.

I've loved before, but this love is greater;
A new love in life is a strong motivator!
So now I will travel all the way to Japan...
Twenty-four hours 'til I meet this new man.

His name is Zachary, his hair is blonde,
And though we've not met, I feel a strong bond.
I hope he will like me; I know I love him.
I love him so much, to Japan I would swim!

In the picture I see he's a work of art-
When I see him in person, he'll take over my heart.
I feel so happy, in fact, I feel young...
It almost seems like my life's just begun.

I've had other titles like Mother and teacher,
But this title adds a totally new feature.
The new title's Grandma, and the evidence is clear-
My joy is immense now that my first grandchild is here.
