The Night Hunt

Wake up! Wake up!
The hunt begins at night.
Yes! This night.
The hunters of the day have lost their right,
We begin at night.

Our prey will feel no fright,
Asleep, they'll feel no knife,
At night.
We begin at night.

Outside we go to await our prey,
We see it before a moment's delay.
We chase it, but it gets away.
Before me, the sky turns grey,
We'll have to wait another day.

Across the field, dawn alights,
We'll hunt again tomorrow night.
