The Nobodies

In a room full of people,
I look around me.
These people are silent,
and they cannot see.

Their mouths are down shut,
to keep them from talking.
About the secrets they hear,
or where they've been walking.

Besides being blind,
and having no voice.
They have no identity,
and it's not by choice.

These people I see,
aren't people at all.
They're soulless creature,
with no remorse to recall.

They have no ears,
just holes in their head.
They cannot sleep,
only lie awake in their beds.

They call themselves nobodies,
because they have no ID.
They're people but not people,
they're actual nobodies, you see.
