The notebook

I was in pain, totally exhausted and drained;
Hoping for my mind to be trained,
To finally become sane!
Then I looked up the window pane,
Thinking of who that might be,
To open up my world again and make me see.
To then rescue me from the chaos and soother the burns;
After my life took a hell lot of devilish turns!
So many echoed empty words in my ears,
But none could truly console my worst fears.
As I sat there dreaming of how this man would look,
I realized that he was none other than the notebook!
