The Ocean and the Moon

I am the Ocean
Blue and deep
O're the Earth a watchful eye,
I keep.
My secrets hidden
Down below
A place where no one
Dare to go.
Some days I toil
and I rage
Bringing destruction
to the sea.
Other days I sit
and I wait
"What will become of me?"
But you are the moon
Bright and full
Shining light
on all my dark water.
You bring me order
By your pull
You show me
What really matters.
The people can play and the Earth is content, with you by my side
Because, although you may not know, you make the Ocean Tide
