The Ode To The Angel

The blazing sun
is a shadow to her
The wind blowing a sweet tune
is silenced by her
An angel in hiding
waiting for a gust
to spread her wings
only slowing
to live among mortals
Just to leave when they
need her most
an independence that makes
the Liberty Bell sing
A confidence
only rivaled
by her modesty
intuition that could lead
a country
yet she remains ignorant
to her beauty
the cunning artistry she has grasped
makes even the greatest minds frivolous
Surpassing like the angel she is
