The One

Hey, girl. I told my family about you before we even met.
I described your beauty as a mirage;
Once seen in a pond out back...
I described your habits like Lucy the horse who never once sneezed.
She was always gentle and polite.
With one apple to fill her belly, please.
I described your hazel eyes with pleasure.
As if we slept in the same bed for years.
And held each other like frozen lovers
With crystallize tears.
I described your talent to my dad
Who said my mom was once a poet;
She put her hand on her heart and patted
And said " this girl is here, you know it."
I described your imagination last
As a tree that be a thousand years old;
Who could tell over a million stories...
That were never ever told.
