The Other side

Scientists say the world and the universe will eventually end, that I cannot mend
If this is true, what do I do
Why do I matter and what should you do
I’ve looked for Jesus but he can’t found
I’ve asked for forgiveness but never received a sound
I’ve searched high and low and believed in a higher place, a better hope made of crystalline dreams designed for a king
Yet I am the jester, lesser than the aggressor
The young boy from his hometown who is always pushed down and kicked around
Jesus where are you when I need you most, Jesus are you out there I am dying to know
Is life just one big joke, or am I the character lost without hope in a plastic reality created by a selfish creator entertained by this show
Will I ever know
