The Passing

Watch me my children, I'll explain what you see.
I'll help you to be, all you can be.
I'll help you be free.

Watch me my son, and I'll teach you to throw.
I'll teach you to grow, I'll teach you to know,
And I'll teach you to go.

Watch me my daughter, and I'll teach you of fun.
I'll teach you to run. I'll teach how it's done,
And I'll show you the Son.

And your heart will cry out when my soul is set free,
As i go toward the Son,
Toward the freedom He won.

Yet.........you pause in your tears, as you look all around
At your loved ones, who long to know how to be strong.

Watch me my children, I'll explain what you see . . . .
