The Past

I know you have doubts, don't doubt.
Let me heal your broken parts you black out.
Let me touch what you clutch;
Let me love you so much;
Let me lull you with my sweet touch.

I know you have questions, don't question.
Let me steer you in the right direction.
Let me mend what you apprehend;
Let me become your best friend;
Let me connect with you, be with you, transcend.

I know you have heartache, don't hurt.
Let me restore what's been stolen and burnt.
Let me undo all your pain, and show you love reigns;
Let me fill the voids that have been drained.

I know you have pain, don't cry.
Let me revive your heart that scrapes by.
Let me fulfill your needs and soothe what bleeds;
Let my passion engulf you and proceed.

I know you have fears, don't fear.
Let me be the one you draw near.
Let me into your loneliness; excite what's been motionless;
Let me enlighten the deepest of hopelessness.
