The Path Worth Taking
On another level,
Life gets more difficult when you've only met someone special.
My mind wraps around him, normally can't stay away,
But with you, I'm willing to play the time game.
I try to make a straight call, but your name's flashing
In the back of my mind, always swaying my decision.
You've got that power, my brother.
My soul's from another half and my brain's going positively insane
In the right way, the no-rush way.
I won't let you take my soul from me,
But you can join me, surely.
I love to see you and as this pen is on paper, I can't forget.
I don't regret the togetherness we've spent.
It was nice, wasn't it?
Good company of the highest individuality.
Hunamity at its best.
Freshest of the fresh.
But we're too new, you and I,
Me and you could both use more time to
Define and draw the lines of our divinity.
Spiritually we flow.
Picturesque and whole.
You may think that I am aching, but my heart is still in controll
And my decision-making stands taller than the game,
Unless of course,
Where you are is the path worth taking.
