The Perfect Daughter

The perfect daughter
Have I not given you my all?
Truly you must know,
Being in this shell I am not whole.
But I will continue to to wither and die
Knowing no longer is my life mine,
But I will continue to allow this to be,
Just so you can live through me,
But how much longer can I show
No emotion,
None at all.

I have longed for you to see me cry,
The very tears you caused my eyes to leak.
Although to you it just shows I am weak,
When I think you have stopped loving me,
I will continue to show I haven't stopped loving you.
Although it is getting old,
In my mind,
Body,
And in my soul,
I still long to be that perfect daughter,
Hoping one day you won't forget,
That all I lived for,
Is to be that perfect pet.
