The Pig Who Wanted to Be Blue

There was a pig on a farmer's farm
He played and he pranced on the green yard
He wondered and wondered all day
Why his heart wasn't in the play
He looked at the blue sky and sea
He figured it out
He didn't want to be pink
He wanted to be as pretty
As everything blue
He tried everything from paint to glue
Then he came up with a marvelous idea
In just a few moments he'd be a blue pig
He took out the marker that he saw
Then he began to draw and draw
When he was finished he looked at his side
In big letters was the word blue
He didn't even need his paint or glue
He was so happy he danced a jig
The farmer came out and said,
'I've never seen such a blue pig!"
