The Price of Gold
The tale has been told, a wish of love and splendor
If a girl turned straw to gold, for the price of a child, tender
Her father doomed hereby bragging of her major and wealthy prowess
So then she had to concur,If she succeeded she'd be made a noble
She'd cried out in grief when a man out of air appeared
He proclaimed "Cost though be, from straw to gold I will weave"
First the golden band that lay upon her neck,
Finally she cried out "Take my first child!!
though it was a choice she may regret
She agreed sadly "To your terms I agree."
His name was shrouded in mystery ,she had to give him his name
Or the child will be his, but she too could beat him at his game
She sent people to every kingdom, days she had to discover his name
No one of the name had any wisdom ,one day a messenger acclaimed
She discovered his identity
Now she had to make haste
Thou name is Rumpelstiltskin, she proclaimed aloud
You now are going to win,now she is going to be happy devoutly
Now the tale is quite much done,She kept her lovely and happy child
She had happily and lovely won, even though her life wasn't mild
